Job Description:
You will learn about the permitting process for utility work from start to finish. You will work closely with project managers, designers, surveyors, and engineers to create plan documents for utility projects. You will interact with local agencies, transportation companies, state departments, and utility companies to provide required permits and other documentation for work on projects being performed in areas owned by other entities. You will learn from professional engineers about review processes, calculations, and more.Â
Qualifications:
Undergraduate Junior/Senior Student in Engineering or Related Degree Program
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to read and understand basic technical drawings and documents.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Familiarity with AutoCAD/MicroStation/Civil 3D is a plus.Â
